WINNERS OF THE STUDENT OLYMPIAD

 

of the University of Foreign Languages and Professional Career, Chair of foreign languages of the Republican Olympiad on foreign languages held

on February 26-27, 2016 at Ablaikhan University of International Relations and World Languages

 

               On February 25-27, 2016 in the city of Almaty the Republican Student Olympiad was held on the specialty groups of "Foreign languages": 5B011900 –Foreign language: two foreign languages, 5B021000 – “Philology: foreign philology” European / Oriental language, 5B020700 – “Translation Studies” at the Kazakh Ablaikhan University of International Relations and World Languages.

2, 3, 4- year students were invited to take part in the Olympiad.

Olympiad was organized in two stages:

I. Specialty 5B011900- Foreign language: two foreign languages ​​(Arabic, Turkish, Chinese):

1. Testing (based on the international standard) - C1 level. Solution of pragma-professional tasks;

2. Competition homework: presentation of the project work on the topic "Integration of multimedia technologies in the school system of foreign language education".

Commission of the Republican Olympiad, Members and guests from other higher universities invited as members of the jury noted the highest level of the students level of the University of languages ​​and Professional career in Arabic, Turkish and Chinese languages.

            As a result of the Olympiad, the winners were awarded by certificates and valuable gifts: dictionaries and reference manuals.
