He is the author of several fundamental papers, textbooks, research books on many issues of history and sociology. He frequently participates in many TV shows such as “Akzhunis”, “Kultobe”, “Aituga Onai”, “Tura Zhol” in which he expresses his opinions on crucial issues of our society.

Gabit Zhumatay, PhD in History and International Relations, Senior Lecturer
Gabit Zhumatay was born June 18, 1981 in Almaty region, the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 1999-2004, he was educated at the Department of History of Kazakh al-Farabi National University (Almaty), where he received the Bachelor of Science in World History in 2004.
Since 2004, he has been working as a teacher of history and international relations at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (Almaty).
In 2004-2007, he studied his postgraduate studies on the specialty “07.00.03 – World History” at the Department of History of Kazakh al-Farabi National University.
In 2008, he successfully defended his thesis on “The Policy of France Towards its Former Colonies and Territories in Sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar in 1945-1965”, and received his degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences (PhD).
In 2013, he was awarded the “Bolashak” scholarship, which gave him a great opportunity to conduct his research project on the theme: “Transformation of the US and China policy towards Central Asia in the Post-Bipolar period” at two leading universities of the US such as the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) and the Harriman Institute at Columbia University (New York), in 2014-2015.
He is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of “History of Kazakhstan, Religious Studies and International Relations” of University of Foreign Languages and Professional Career conducting some disciplines such as “History of Kazakhstan”, “Sociology”, “Contemporary System of International Relations”, “Modern and Contemporary History of Foreign Countries”, and “Modern and Contemporary History of Asia and Africa”in English.
His research interests focus on geopolitical, cultural, and political processes in the Post-Soviet space, Central Asia, the Middle East and North America.
During his professional career since graduation from Kazakh al-Farabi National University, he has published more than 50 scientific papers in academic journals in Kazakhstan as well as abroad.
In addition to that he participated in several international scientific conferences dedicated to crucial issues of regional and international affairs in the USA, Armenia and India.
Furthermore, he is the author of three textbooks on history of international relations, theory of international relations, diplomacy, world politics and global processes such as
1) “Theory of International Relations (published in 2013)”;
2) “Diplomatic and Consular Service (2013)”;
3) “Contemporary History of International Relations (2015)” that have been approved and recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Iztayeva Venera Amangeldikyzy, Candidate of Political Sciences
Iztayeva Venera Amangeldikyzywas born 23rd January 1970 in Atyrau city.
In 1977-1987, she studied at Public School of Krasnogor village of the district of Zhanakala, Ural region. During those years she achieved high accomplishments in study and received many awards and medals for her excellent achievements and for her good behavior.
In 1987-1992, she studied at the Department of Philosophy and Economy of Kazakh al-Farabi National University form which she graduated in 1992 as teacher of philosophy.
In 1996, she completed her postgraduate study at Kazakh State Women’s Pedagogical University on the specialty “Philosophy”.
In 2007, she successfully defended her dissertation “The Role of the Political Leaders in Consolidation of the Kazakh Society (A Comparative Analysis of Political Activities of Ablai Khan and N. Nazarbayev)” on the specialty “Political Establishments, Ethno-Political Conflicts, National and Political Processes and Technologies” under supervision of A. Nisanbayev, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor.
In 2007-2013, she worked as a teacher at the Chair of International Relations at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
Since 2013 she has been teaching at the Chair of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences at University of Foreign Languages and Professional Career.
She is married and has two children, a son and a daughter. Her husband, Ahmetov Marat, born 1968 works as a Prosecutor. Her daughter, Almasova Nazerke Maratkyzy studies at a university for getting a master’s degree, and her son, Alamsov Elzhan Maratuly is a 10th grade student.
She has published more than 40 scientific works such as “Political PR and Political Technology”, “Contemporary Issues of International Relations and Regional Studies”, “Political Interests of China in Africa”, “An Analysis of International Relations”, “The Role of the Political Leaders in Consolidation of the Kazakh Society (A Comparative Analysis of Political Activities of Ablai Khan and N. Nazarbayev)”, etc.
She conducts many important subjects for undergraduates such as “Comparative Political Sciences”, “Comparative Transitology”, “Foundations of Analysis of International Relations”, “Methods and Approaches of International Relations”, “Delimitations of the State Borders of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, and “Political Management”, and for postgraduates such as “Political Modernization of Relationships Among States”, “World Politics and Political Management”. She conducts all her subjects in accordance with the latest requirements of teaching and training process. She currently conducts classes on “Political Sciences” for all specialties of the universities.
On 21-25 November 2012, she participated in a meeting of the World Congress of Political Scientists held in Moscow, Russia. She is very active and participates in many events.
