MAIN TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT
Promote implementation of the University`s mission in presenting qualitative educational service in the sphere of higher professional and postgraduate study to consumers of all levels: state, society, personality.
Promote modernization of education by means of perfection of educational process, integration of science and education, introduction of modern informational-educational technologies for the purpose of flexible response for social need and labour market request.
Pursue a Policy and Aims of the University of Foreign Languages and Business Career.
Participate in the University`s activity in ensuring educational-educative process organization in accordance with requests of SSE of the RK, internal normative documents.
Carry out arrangements of development and introduction of new conceptual approaches to educational activity organization.
Rise of educational process and educational quality efficiency;
Coordination of departments` and chairs` instructional work;
Rise of young lecturers` pedagogical skill quality;
Generalization of the results and departments` and chairs` instructional work analysis;
Organization and perfection of instructional work at the University;
Analysis of instructional process`s content, control of progressive technologies introduction at the chairs;
Perfection of the curriculums, making of guidelines in rational use of lecture rooms and educational time –budget.
Renovation of educational and scientific-methodological documentation in the frames of poly-lingual education.
FUNCTIONAL DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT
Making of regulations and orders in educational process organization at the UFLBC;
Making of curriculums in accordance with educational load planning;
Making of actions of innovative technologies into educational process introduction;
Control of students` week load realization with an allowance of independent and supervised
Planning and account of chairs` educational load, account of chairs` need of staff ;
Control of distribution and fulfillment of educational load at the chairs;
Account of work by the hour (including fund on location);
Scheduling of studies ;
Making out of educational time-tables (terminal diploma projects (works) defence);
Control of educational-laboratorial fund`s state;
Making out of diagram and University`s SEC and SAC implementation;
Control and account of fund by the hour fulfillment. Making out of applications for work payment. Account of lecturers` pedagogical load with work by the hour fulfillment;
Control of timely making out , affirmation and fulfillment of staff`s individual plans, monthly and yearly pedagogical load reports of the chairs;
Making out of yearly report on work load fulfillment , analysis of discrepancy reasons between planned and factual lecturer`s load;
Participation in the University`s activity in making out of necessary educational documentation and account connected with educational work in the frames of functional duties.
Promotion in rise of the educational process`s quality by mean of time-table`s making out in accordance with regulations and norms of ME&S of the RK, control of teaching staff`s work discipline keeping.
Carrying out of the Rector`s orders and the University`s Scientific Council`s decisions concerning Curriculum Department`s activity;
Observance of the Management Quality System`s standards.
Participation in social-political, mass-cultural actions of the University.
CURRICULUM DEPARTMENT FOR FULFILMENT OF IT`S TASKS HAS THE RIGHT FOR:
Participation in discussion and solving problems of the University`s activity.
Interact with all structural departments and inquire about information and documents necessary for carrying out Curriculum Department`s functions.
Demand from the University`s administration department`s material-technical provision.
To use the services of the library, informational funds of educational and scientific subdivisions of the University.
